I still not Linux enabled - Solidly OS/2.  Thus I can't help directly.

One no-longer Net 117 member in the far away past who moved on to Linux has
said he wanted to try a BBS creation in Net 117 in Linux, perhaps.  This
gent is technically competent.  I have one very otherwise busy and still
here, but almost not here, Net 117 member who has been taking tons of
courses in Linux at professional level.  This person will have no time at
all to do anything, if possible, until this summer, so told me.

What would be the time line for a more or less second level, or not quite
so virgin, beta test candidate?  If you like, I'll pass this on to both.
