           I can't be sure who all of them are, of course.  But among those who
engage in conversation here I see that a lot of the questions people most often
ask have to do with simplified explanations given in the primary grades &/or in
textbooks.  Both native speakers & people who are studying English as a foreign
language are confused when the "rules" seem to have numerous "exceptions".  :-)
