Sorry for this, but this is an International Echo, and what is illegal in
the US, may not be illegal elsewhere (in New Zealand, where I live).  I have
no idea if it's illegal to listen to peoples calls here in New Zealand, but
you can buy scanners in the shops, and I do listen with my 'ol Motorola
