Distribution: SUPRAFAX is distributed via the Fidonet North American
Backbone and is also available in many other areas of
the world. Pick it up where you get your other echomail
in (or from) North America.
Echo Purpose and History:
This echo is intended both as a means of contacting the
Communications Division of Diamond Multimedia for support
of the Supra modem product line and as a means of knowledge
exchange between users of Supra modem products.
This echo was originally started by Wayne Boyd (in Burnaby,
BC, Canada) in the fall of 1992 to help answer his (and others)
questions about how to use his SupraFAXModem. In the fall of
1993, Supra Corp. joined Fidonet and started providing technical
support and comment. In the spring of 1995, moderation was taken
over by Patrick Moore (Fidonet 1:357/4 or patrick@supra.com via
the Internet) of Supra Corp. when Wayne Boyd was no longer able
to be active in Fidonet.
In fall of 1995 Diamond Multimedia merged Supra Corp in as its
Communications Division.
Echo Rules and Policies:
1. Do not be annoying and do not be easily annoyed (no FLAMES).
2. Please limit messages here to issues regarding the use of
