Did VP Gore really do that?  I hope so.  Our elected leaders, although
needing to keep a sense of dignity about what they're doing (most, I think,
don't), also need to be able to have a sense of humor and be willing to laugh
at themselves every now and again, particularly since so many of the things
they do are (unintentionally) laughable.

Here's to wit and irony on the Hill and in the White House.
