Yeah, yeah, ok, ok, ok, this is how it works, you're(the capt.) all alone 
with whatever resouces you've got and you try diplomacy at *all* times before 
engaging in a slugfest, plus the Federation isn't around to conquer and 
swallow the universe.
Yeah, yeah, that makes for a long ordeal but heck, we're on a science mission 
and I just want to go home and I know it will be 75 yrs. I think I'll 
applease as much as possible before doing anything rash. Plus, everything 
Capt. Janeway encounters is totally new and she has no idea what to expect 
other than to take precautions on 1st contact. Her possum tactics are well 
used when she knows there's usually no one to call for help. -_-_-Bill
