Please be advised: This echo is NOT the proper place to solicit dates,
whether Gay or Straight... No big deal, but not the in the original
"charter", i'm afraid.. I have requested this area be better left to the
MULTIPLE INTERNET and Alternate-Net Echoes devoted to Soul-Mate pursuits,
as have I requested advertisements of/for Medicines/poultices and other
such areas be addressed in Echoes so devoted.. BTW, I am NOT
discouraging anyone in the echo from responding/suggesting/helping; just
that future Ads of a similar personal nature be placed in more
appropriate (and more far-reaching!) Echoes 
HOWEVER, Let me see if i can be of SOME help, Robb..
There is a BBS in Western Canada (BC, I think) dedicated to connecting
handicapped individuals with "soulmates" who have an affinity for the
Physically Handicapped of all persuasions and afflictions. I DID search
my files for about 1/2 hour looking for the info, to no avail.. I
believe the BBS was called "Star Something??" - If any of our regulars
have the BBS name and number, I will leave it to their discretion to
publicize it, if they wish. I was not able to validate their "modus
Operandi" or their "sincerity-factor" (for lack of a better term), and
did not encourage their advertising on this echo when they DID contact
me, as Moderator of this Echo.  If I can find the info, I will bring it
up to the P_P Echo folks as to whether to let them advertise their
"services" in this echo.. Democracy rules.. (to a LARGE degree!!) 
Sorry If this post gets out late - my Mail Tosser sems to be NOT working
