Absolutely, not all lines can sustain 33600. But you can't blame Telstra
when the Modem Manufacturers won't fix their firmware.
I'd still like to know of any Rockwell based modem apart from Supra who can
get 33600 calling into a Austel Courier. Firmware revision would be
helpful.
