256 Meg RAM should be much enough for 18 Gig, especially with , if there are
not very much other extra nlm�s like arcserve oracle databenches etc.
Whats the cache memory block size ? It cannot be greater than the HD block
size, but I don�t know how it works with CD-ROM.
Did you try it with different CD�s ?
