Maybe, if it's not too big.

HLIST is my files list generator, by one Harvey Parisien, who also wrote
a bunch of other stuff that's out there. Not a bad program, and I've been
using it for ages. There's quite possibly a later version out there than
the one I'm using. The output looks something like this:

HLIST is a freely available file list compiler.
(Hope those box-drawing characters don't give you problems.>
This particular zip is linux, the smallest of the several I have here,
the whole list being somewhat bigger:
TANSTAAF.LST 570585 1844056 30% Deflated 04-May-03 11:29
Hm, I'm a little out of date there, need to fix that. Anyhow, I run a
batch file that goes into a bunch of different config files and generates
the whole list, the "new" files list (not much of that), and
similar for several other categories, like dos, windows, w32, cp/m, text,
pictures, etc. It used to run as a part of midnight maintenance but I
stopped because it'd crash due to not quite enough memory, or something,
so I have to run it manually. Something I changed in my setup here.
What you're seeing above is basically the info that's in each directory's
FILES.BBS listing but with the size and date added, and the line
reformatted to wrap properly. That took a bit of fiddling to get it right,
but looking at that next-to-last file listed you can see what I mean.
DLC is another matter. I put square brackets in each line of the FILES.BBS
listing, to start with, and when somebody downloads a file it's logged,
the program scans both max.log and bink.log looking for downloads and
freqs. A typical entry from DLC.LOG looks like this:
+ 01 May 00:04:54 DLC Begin, DLC v2.51 (mem=410K)
* 01 May 00:04:54 DLC Reading M:\MAX\FILE\LOGS\MAX.LOG
: 01 May 00:04:54 DLC Processed M:\MAX\FILE\LOGS\MAX.LOG, 0 file(s) downloaded
* 01 May 00:04:54 DLC Reading M:\MAX\FILE\LOGS\BINK.LOG
: 01 May 00:04:57 DLC Processed M:\MAX\FILE\LOGS\BINK.LOG, 0 file(s) sent
+ 01 May 00:04:57 DLC End. (length=0:03, mem=410K)
If it finds some that were downloaded or freq'd, it alters the files.bbs
file and increments the count that's there already, if there is one. I
see in the quoted list above that the linux FAQ that Pascal is nice enough
to email to me has been grabbed a total of 8 times, which is not too bad.
Most of the files I have here are in the single digits, with exceptions
here and there, although the files list itself has been grabbed over 350
times.
I could see doing this sort of thing with unix tools, maybe. DLC has a
bug in it anyhow, it cuts lines off at 255 or 256 characters, and some of
my file descriptions were a bit longer than that, so they got truncated.
I hear that bink is being ported, and TimED, so there's not a whole lot
else I'd need to move the whole setup over to linux. Nodelist tools, I
guess, a compiiler and something to take the place of BONK...
