I'm of two minds, trying to decide if I should re-enable it as a level of user
security: to protect me from myself.  ;)

Yes, but UEFI seems to be something from the future.  Or a dead end.[shrug] 
The alternate boot options that you & I know and love are considered by it as
'legacy' options.

I did a tally-up recently, and figured I've been using the same mouse mat for
nearly 25 years.  It was provided by a workmate back in 1993 (at least), from
offcuts of wetsuit material.  It's completely washable after it gets grungy.
