subject: Bug Frequency Band

     Hello Bill!
[Bugs into the 520 to 760 Mhz band]
GH> ...but what if you have such a bug near (or in!) your house and at
GH> the same time you tune across your tv dial (or remote control).
GH> You may have a small chance to catch them, right?
BC: Also, the bugger would set its frequency to be not on the audio
BC: slot....such that a TV tuner would not likely pick it up.
Then, the guy will be smart...very smart, prooving that isn't a
begineer in this field.
BC: It's hard enough to hit the cell sites with a TV tuner...
But it can be done...but the results will vary.
BC: I'd say that chances of a TV detecting a bug in the UHF TV band
BC: would be nill, even if the bug were inside the TV.
I have to experiment this :)
What about harmonics or other kind of frequencies images ? Any
chances ?
GH>> I have a small tv (5 inches screen) with a varactor tuner that
GH>> sweep in UHF from around 438 to about 890 Mhz.
BC:Can it detect the cellular signals?
Easily. I'm surrounded by cells sites, having one of them almost
in my backyard.
GH>> ...i saw... announcing the CE-232 at 149.95$ ... is it right ?
BC:I don't think it was on this forum you say it, but yeah...it's a
BC:permanent reduction.
Interesting. Can i have some details (shipping costs, etc) ? Do
you have an demo of the actual program ?
     Thanks,
