>>> Clarence Hogan on Universes
WE> That which is the universe is ever persistent clarity of mind,
WE> orderly yet elusive. Chaotic the multiverse, perpetually random
WE> confusion persistently intruding upon the universe. For respite from
WE> both is the nulliverse, the never present, perceivable only at its
WE> gateway transitions of sleep, death, birth, unconsciousness, and
WE> trance. Clarifying all of this, however, creates yet additional
WE> confusion.
WE> No, there are pockets of chaos or as you might put it hell.
CH> Hummmmm, ok, now can you describe the pockets of chaos
WE> Whenever you are agitated for example.
Hummmmm, ok, now am I to understand that you are considering us to
be a small universe and the universe as the "Great man"?
CH> If you say so, but you sure could have fooled me for I thought that
CH> mathematics explained it all!
WE> Nope, as a matter of fact the actually proved that some things are
WE> undecidable and others uncomputable. They also suspect that some
WE> things, tho computable, will take too long.
If you and "the" say so, but you will never be able to prove that
statement to me, for it is my firm belief that all things are without
a doubt decidable and all things are definitely computable, for if it
were not so, nothing would work in this universe of ours, right?
CH> And just how do we go about applying these other attributes to the
CH> universe itself? Or do you consider the universe to be a thinking
CH> entity?
WE> Does the universe think?
Is not the question of the ages, which BTW has never been answered
satisfactorily by man, now has it?
WE> Well if you're willing to assume that people
WE> actually do some thinking then as there are a bunch of them in the
WE> universe, then the universe does do some thinking.
Without a doubt, people think, but the question of the universe being
a thinking being still remains unanswered, does it not?
CH> Hummmmm, since you have not defined multiverse and nulliverse as of
CH> yet, I would be hard put to make any speculation as to the validity
CH> of your statement here!
WE> How about chaos and nothing?
And just where do we find this chaos and nothing other than in
humans who are the creators of same which fully amount to nothing
and how do you propose we find nothing?
CH> Since I have yet to comprehend the term nulliverse, how can I
CH> possibly deny that which I do not fully understand?
WE> You're getting it backwards. The multiverse can't be fully
WE> understood. As there nothing really to comprehend in the nulliverse,
WE> it's easy to deny. Here's a Zen koan. Where is a man when he's
WE> asleep.
How so backwards, please elaborate! Now in your mind, you may have
a full comprehension of your multiverse and nulliverse, however, you
have still not given me a satisfactory explanation or picture of it!
As to where a man is when he is asleep, from what has been said between
us to this point, IMHO he would have to be at rest from the chaos that
you have been speaking about and unless his mind is active in the
process of dreaming, he is truly in nothingness and complete rest
while his body is busy making repairs to the chaos that he himself
has created within his system and slowly bringing itself back to peak
health and efficiency! Whatdaya' think?
CH> ... Once upon a time there was no time and so it shall be again! :)
WE> In no time at all time began for its time had come.
EXCELLENT summation in as few of words as possible! Did you thunk
that up all by yourself or did you steal it? :)
WE> ... I think, therefore the universe thinks.
Prove it! :) For the simple reason that the universe is completely
and perfectly obedient and the fact is that if it indeed did think of
it's own volition, it would no more be obedient than man is, correct?
Nuff fo this session! :)
Just another humble servant of The Kingdom.......clarence.......
... If it's not seasoned with a dash of humor, I don't want to hear it!
