Hi John,

Where you been? Caught me offguard with a reply to a message
from a little while ago. ;-)

JA> He got his third, Remington settled out of court.

Mine has been nothing but a workhorse (and a good one).
JS> It's quite possible given me fewer problems than any other
JS> firearm I've owned, notably excepting the HK of course. :-)
Mine has been great. Never tried shooting it with snow or mud
in the barrel though.
Got a turkey two weekends ago and as I went to pick it up off
the ground my barrel went muzzle first into the cornfield and
plugged about 1.5" deep. I, of course, unloaded first and then
cleaned the mud out with a stick. I then dropped some line
through the barrel and tied an oversise piece of cut cloth at
the brrech end. I then pulled it through to the muzzle and the
barrel came out "clean as a whistle". AAMOF, it shined so nice,
my neighbor decided to "clean" his too.
Take Care,
John
