ml> i have to wonder what kind of filter you are/were expecting... i've ml> never known of anything to be listed as a "passenger compartment ml> filter" for any A/C or related air flow services... however, my ml> father's chrysler sebring has recently started "spitting" dark ml> coarse "foam core" at us/him thru the ait vents... this "foam core" ml> is dry and brittle... obviously from age... this foam core has ml> (finally) broken up from the air flow and is now being blown thru ml> the system to the air vents and then some of it breaks off and is ml> then blown into the passenger compartment... is this "filter" what ml> you were inquiring about?? My Kia Rio has an air filter inside the glove box (you actually remove the glove box and I think open a lid to get to. It's specifically designed to filter the air conditioner air going into the car. There's another air filter used for the air going into fuel injection, but that's under the hood where it belongs. I have to admit, it's the first car I've seen with two air filters! ...
