By far, TLK has got to be my fave Disney flick as well. I just hope that
LK II isn't given the same quality as Aladdin 2 was. (Will we see Matthew
Broderick as Simba? Nathan Lane back as Timon? Only time will tell.) My
prediction will probably be that it'll be straight to video as well, and
the animation will be along the lines of "The Adventures of Timon and
Pummba" cartoon series. As for Robin Williams as the Genie in Aladdin, IMO,
he MADE that movie. Without him in Aladdin 2, it was (my belief) a
straight to video flop. Although, I've heard rumours that he's supposed to
be back as the Genie in Aladdin 3 (unfortunatly, also a straight-to-vid
deal). Let's just pray that LK II will not fall into the same boat as
Aladdin 2.
