Hey, Vince! Thanks for the feedback. Okay, your compiler seems to be upset with Scott's old-school C++ (as near as I can tell -- I'm no C++ guru, are you? :). Without the btree library, you won't be able to build squish (not sure about max). Can you post the output of the following commands from the top-level directory? # uname -a # gcc --version # g++ --version # make build_debug # find . -name \*.so Also, try adding this to btree/Makefile: CXXFLAGS += -fpermissive ...as for it not finding -lmax, the contents of slib have to built (and maybe installed) for that to go. I should take a better look at the from-scratch build mechanisms, but unfortunately it takes this poor under powered little box almost three hours to do a from-scratch build. I will try and move this over to the SourceForge compile farm to get the build process a little more bug free. :) BTW, I intend to have a new release ready tonight sometime. Changes aren't enormous (mostly telnet related), but it will be available as a "tar diff" as well as a "full" release. Or, you could check the whole thing out from CVS *after* I've done the next release if you know how to do that. (CVS tree is currently two patches behind what you have) Cheers, Wes --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: COMM Port OS/2 juge.com 204.89.247.1 (281) 980-9671 (1:106/2000) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 106/2000 633/267 |
