Hey Ben!

BR> Yup, just need a link to D/L your test kernel :)

Two problems there at this writing; 1) no test kernel yet 2) no dl between us.

Both could be easily resolved in short order but first I want to go over and
compare crosstool-ng to what I originally came up with when experimenting after
reading about aarch64.

BR> and whatever else goes with it?

I was thinking a small busybox enviroment for a test root/boot sd card thingy.

BR> I've not attained linux guru status yet

I am not convinced there is a guru wrt aarch64-rpi3-linux-gnueabi yet. At the
moment crosstool-ng has the edge but I cannot confirm that it indeed does work.

BR> lol just fun to play with it!

Definetly interesting. For me the real fun has yet to come and it looks like
there is potential fun in aarch64-rpi3-linux-gnueabi land.

Give me a couple days to absorb what I have so far before we make any serious
plans about it. For sure we'll need a method for file transfers and offhand I
am thinking fidonet-ish but could easily setup the former ftp site if needed.

Life is good,
Maurice
