No worries, over the last few days I have noticed more 31.2k / 33.6k
connects to the Spirit than to the USR. I think the USR may be a bit
more robust on not so clean lines tho (discounting HST) ...

Well, I do not know about other Spirit modems (Viper & Cobra are the
only others I know of) but the Dragon seems to be OK so far...
