No idea if it is required for Amiga or if TrapDoor can be configured for BSO too.  Binkd does support ASO, if it is build with --with-aso (which I did):

$ ./binkd -vv

Compilation flags: clang, https, amiga_4d_outbound, bwlim.
Facilities: fts5004 ipv6
