Of course, back when Maximus 1.0 was written (1990), porting to other (PC)
operating systems was not really an option. There was DOS and there was...
DOS. Windows 3.0 had just been released and OS/2 2.0 wasn't released until
a year or two later.
I only started programming in Turbo Pascal 3.0 that year. I didn't start
writing C code until four years later (after I finished high school).
