Um. Bill, according to my reading of the ads, Courier prices are rather less than half of what they were some months ago. Granted, there are cheaper. There are also more expensive - including locally manufactured marble slabs.. er modems. The trend doesn't outrage me at all...:-) However, x2 is a bummer. Considering that we will have to wait for a 64kb based x2 instead of the Yank 56k variety (if it ever happens), and that USR can't be bothered to officially release 33.6 to the plebian kangaroo herders, I wouldn't be holding my breath until the chance to become offended at the cost of x2 comes to Oz.
