I've done this, and then hovered around, looking at stereos or
TVs or DVDs or something as the clerks start going nuts.
Eventually, they start checking the other clocks, so it quits
being fun after about 30 minutes. (I set mine for 10-minute
intervals.)

And this.  Though the best one I've ever seen was a friend of
mine in K-mart, when we were in high school, trying to start up a
game of frisbee golf in the store... "Ok, the third hole is the
Blue-Light Special light in Aisle 3.  Par 4. Ready?"
