Personally, I skip them. If the links aren't clear in Lynx, I figure
they're trying to cover a lack of substance with a lot of image. Not always
true, but it's close enough to be worth using as a rule of thumb.
I won't even review a site that I can't use in Lynx.
I think a better option is to either provide a separate text-friendly
page, with a choice on the front page, or force the graphics to load LAST.
