You've seen the movie crossroads :-?
In fact, the reality is sometimes faster than mails - since yesterday I've a
Marshall AS80R at home :-))))))))).
Thats no Amp for a Les Paul, I think, but you have to say a step in your
direction. Most playing I do in the moment is with another guy one time a
week acoustic. He's playing a National Duolian and I'm changing between my
Takamine and National Style O.
The Marshall would be great to play in small clubs without own aplifikation,
because he has a Microphone channel too.
But perhaps can you or some other who is reading this help with two problems:
1. How many $ is a Higlander Pickup for a National Style O in the USA? Here
they want 600 DM (maybe around 330 US $). Much money for a pick-up without
mounting it :-((((
2. On my new amp are a lot of buttons with some letters written on it, in
fact 29. The most I understand, like Volume, lo - mid - hi, Reverb, Output
Volume etc.
Problem 2a is the transducer section with buttons named Volume, FBF1, FBF2
and Attack. I got no manual with the amp. I think FBF1 and FBF2 could be the
stereo channels, but I'm not shure. And whats attack?
Problem 2b is the buttom labeled chorus with the adjacent buttoms
- Resonance
- Intensity
- Rate and
- Modulation.
The chorus changes the sound, but what does a chorus really do?
Every help is welcome. Thanx in advance
MFG,
Lutz
