Just a note on the Banksia Blitzer ignition series 14400 Fax Modems.
I have just been in contact with a Banksia Technician on their BBS in
Sydney Australia.

According to Banksia themselves the said Modem does not have Error
Correction/Data Compression built into it at all.

If you Want error correction or data compression it needs to be in your
terminal software for you to have Compression Error Correction.

Hope this advice helps everyone who has one of these modems like ME and
tried for weeks to figure error correction out.
