JB> breakdown. This happens under braking, as well as under throttle......
JB> Anyways, IS IT BETTER TO HAVE ONE ON THE MOTOR?
JB> Well, any electrical engineer designing this type of speed knows
JB> better than to exclude this diode. Any speed control by the major
JB> manufacturers already has this diode in the circuit..
So you're saying that it is only necessary to include a diode on a motor
that has an ESC because that is what is causing the spikes? What about
motors using mechanical speed controls?
