Wow, I am looking at this old post. It's now 2011 and I bought the Honda in
2002. The Honda is still going although my youngest daughter has it. I wish
I still had it. I fed it Castrol syntech every 5k which did the trick. The
car has over 250k miles on it and it is young :)

My next project is a 2009 VW MKV gti which I bought new. I have uploaded
APR stage II software on it, installed a better downpipe (Induktion
motorsports) and a BSH intake. I am ready to put a Magnaflow catback
exhaust on it but the wife has protested. She thinks that the neighbors
will think I am a hillbilly or something. Since Cape Cod summers are just
as humid as Baltimore, I am thinking of putting a Forge Twintercooler /
intercooler on the front to keep the turbo from heat soak. I ran around the
cape all last summer and by the end of the day, she just didn't want to eat
pavement. I have maxed out all possibilites of horsepower with the stock
KO3 turbo and seriously thinking about APR's KO4 turbo kit since I have the
software in place.
