Errrr ... on what?  Doing a search I come up with a few different hits with
the primary ones being linux/gnu based.  Without looking at it closely it
appears to be 'dd' based except with a few addons.  I do see some Windows
links but I am not sure it is the same thing.

The real problem is that nobody seems to know what the system really is,
including (maybe especially) MS programmers, if there are any MS
programmers left.  A few years back I read something interesting about usb
drivers and found a quote that went something like this;  It appears
Microsoft has more lawyers than engineers.
