Most "electronic payments," including Intuit's system, really aren't.
That is, you make an electronic payment to Intuit or some other company,
but they then send out a paper check to pay your various bills.
I do have true electronic payment of both my mortgage and my automobile
payment.  I'll happily use electronic payments which don't involve a
third party.
