It's a pleasure to have you enter the foray Mr. Dawson.  I was not aware 
that the O2As were flown to U-Tapao.  It probably was by VNAF pilots.  
I've spent many months at U-Tapao as a KC-135 driver and was there just 
before the lights were turned out.  Very interesting experience, if I 
may say so!!!!!!!   The night before we departed with a gaggle of 
fighters the electricity did go off just before sunset and all the 
trailers and dorm doors opened to get air and it was  *sight*  to 
behold, in my opinion!!!!!!   *:-<)
