Hi everyone,
I have some great news for you. It seems that us recovery folks now
have a complete forum to ourselves now, and here is the announcement
about it.
Fm: Wendell F. 71220,711
After years of effort, I am pleased to announce that we are on the verge of
having our own home. If things go smoothly, the Recovery Forum will be open
tomorrow, Friday June 30 (if things don't go smoothly, we'll all have another
opportunity to learn some patience).
The Recovery Forum will be reached by typing Recovery from GO screen
(GO:RECOVERY if you aren't using CIM). It isn't available today and won't
e,
so hold your horses . It will contain 23 message sections and Libraries
and 10 conference rooms devoted to various aspects of recovery from various
addictions, including, of course, our very own Soberspace cafe where we can
continue the sharing of the joys and difficulties of recovery without being
limited to any particular fellowship or addiction.
We aren't announcing the opening of Recovery to the general public just yet -
we wanted to give current Health & Fitness members a few days to get used to
the new home. We expect to be able to move the active message threads from
here, so conversations aren't interrupted.
We'll be in a position to give folks the help they need getting around our
ew
home shortly after we open. See you in Recovery!
In recovery,
Bill K.
