Hey Vince; Remember, this is a pre-alpha release, so you will likely have to do some work to make everything compile/work properly. :) For that matter, I'm not actually sure what's in max-linux2418, although I plan on going through that archive in detail at some point as I bring the sourceforge CVS tree into sync with my dev version and bo's changes. When all the patches are applied, I'll be releasing tag Maximus3_03b. That version also contains some minor bug fixes and an extensive re-work of the communications layer. Building the code generally produces a lot of warnings. Warning-reduction in unmodified code is of an unbelievably low priority, compared to actually making Maximus work properly. If you can give some details about the error messages, however, I can try and help you get it built. Finally: WARNING WARNING WARNING -- You have been warned! If you're mixing message bases from this version of Maximus or Squish with other products (e.g. GoldED) -- MAKE BACKUPS. And, of course, if you do loose a message base, keep the corrupted copy around for someone (me?) to analyze when time permits.
