I think kids might be more adaptable than the parents.  Mine probably were
more excepting of the change than I was and I am certain adapted to it much
faster then me.

Probably explains why I never bothered getting married again and haven't
had a relationship lasting longer than a few months at best since that
time.  Mind you economics mind be a bigger factor but offhand I am guessing
less than my resistance to wanting to repeat the entire experience.  Also
not meeting MS. Right might have something to do with it as well.

Speaking of kids, I usually get along better with single mother's kids than
I do with the mother as it turns out.
