Well I waited until Saturday until calling (Optus cheap rates), and because
you didn't mention the filenames, I requested "FILES", and
because you didn't mention the node, I used "3:632/348", and
because you didn't mention otherwise, I assumed you would have a high speed
modem (ie V32bis), and indeed your flags that your mailer sent to me
indicated you did.
However, I got a connect at 2400, and FILES turned out to be something
quite short, which gave me a list of 20 magic names to choose from, none of
which was polyxarc. This is why I asked for someone to do the legwork for
me! :-)
BTW, what product do you have that can tell if a netmail message is being
argued over? And also, you still haven't explained to me what's wrong with
the algorithm I am using in Tobruk to determine if a netmail message is
being argued over, which is to count the number of times your address
appears in the message, and see if that is greater than the
"expected" number. The expected number is entered by the user,
and will be either 1 or 2 probably. I can't imagine a situation where this
algorithm wouldn't work. BFN.
Paul
