my troubling thought is that each defined DOSBOX is its own separate entity...
i'm not sure i like the fake share solution they came up with... it doesn't
seem to provide any actual file or record locking that i can see from my quick
perusal of the repo... i think that means that two DOSBOX images using the same
mapped directories for on-disk comms and data sharing still won't work properly
and won't be able to both use the same data files at the same time :(
