What you guys are discussing is car audio.  Pro audio is
audio for professionals in the recording business - studio
engineers, sound reinforcement people, that sort of thing.
Just because you enter your car sound system into a
competition does not make it pro audio.
There definitely are conferences for car audio - I know I've
seen them.  Can't remember what they're called, but if you
look for them, I'm sure you'll find them.
