Hi Wes,

As soon as Scott Dudley released Max/Squish code to SourceForge I
decided I have to follow him and release SqaFix source code :)

But for a lack of spare time I had never chance to complete the
procedure with SourceForge ;(

If you are ready to undertake the hassle I'm ready to provide you with
the complete SqaFix source code under the same license as Max/Squish
source code, that, I believe, is GPL :)

Cheers,
/Pete

Looks like I'll have something new to sink my teeth into once Maximus is stable. :)

Don't worry, I've been quiet on the releases for the last few days, but I'm
still workin' away. Debugging the MEX VM is not fun under this crappy Linux
box I have. I need to get it ported to Sparc. I'm also re-working some of
the SourceForge web content and getting the CVS repository doing what I
want it to (looks like the "legacy" directory will wind up being
"the attic").

My new telnet module is also nice and stable, but requires several other
supporting files to be minutely changed. Sorry, I have haven't had a chance
to "release" it yet. But it's 8-bit capable (uses it if the
client allows), notices the incoming "caller" much more quickly,
and enables/distables the Nagle algorythm in an intelligent fashion, which
should help us get some better performance out of high-latency connections.
Oh, and it doesn't spew AT commands at users any more. :) Finally, there
are planned-hooks which should make it easy-cheezy to drop in a serial (or
whatever else) module when the time codes.

I'm desperately trying to get the CVS up and going with the right
organization and patches shortly. As always, time is short.

I have also started a source documentation project; as I code, I document
in a JavaDoc-ish style (how's that for a good habit? :) and am now
Doxygen'ing the code at http://wes.zapto.org/~wes/maximus/docs. Even
without many comments or sections (yet), just the cross-reference are
useful in figuring out what's going on.

Cheers,
Wes
