Anytime you want to mess with a config, you save the existing one to 
a subdirectory (C:\BW\CFGS\), or a backup name: 
_BWCOLOR.CFG -=> _BWCOLOR.CF# 

Save the original Blue Wave CFG as _BWCOLOR.CF0 

The original _BWCOLOR.CFG is in the C:\BW\DATA\ directory. 

Possibly even save all your renamed experiments in a subdirectory for 
future reference. 

Of course, you save those backups to a floppy or CD that you keep 
with the install disk for BlueWave, just in case there is a hard drive 
crash.
