The only way to tell a v.everything to report to Opus without using a
frontend is set S27=128. This will report a 9600 baud connect with anything
above 9600. With the usual hayes type aka rockwell chipsets set the W param
to W0 and don't forget to AT&W afterwards for both modems. You can still
lock the port at whatever you like (not to excede 57600 with 1.79) and you
will still get great CPS.
