I am going to be getting a new boat and I have a question about boat 
colors. I have seen where many power boats have a white top and bottom and 
a colored strip in between. I have also seen where some boats have a metal 
flake color other than white on top and bottom and a colored strip. My 
question is about how much the white will be able to withstand showing 
scraps and scuffs. I know the colored metal flake paint will hide most 
scraps, scuffs and dings, but what about the solid white? Will the solid 
white finish start to show it's age faster and require refinishing sooner?
