I knew "Battlestar Galactica" was in the theatres in Canada, but
I did not see it there.
I was a fourteen year old kid then, and begging my parents to drive me to the
theatre was nearly impossible (my parents, and especially my father absolutely
loathed science fiction, and thought it was unworthy of spending any money on).
I used what pull I had for the trip to see "Star Wars."

I do remember when Battlestar Galactica came on TV, and I believe it was 1977-1978
for the first season.  In some weeks, it was the highest-rated show on Canadian
television.
