Wonder if anyone else is working Terminte on an XP system?

One problem I have with running on XP is I can not do maintaince (ALT M).
I can not delete messages say messages older than 90 days.  I get a screen
that swaps to DOS but when I scan the areas again nothing has been deleted.
The only way to do this is to go in and either manually delete messages (0r)
go to the directory and maually deleted files.

I don't remember when this problem started but it's been a "long while" and
I've just been putting up with it.  But I would like to find some sort of a
solution if anyone has one.

I know it worked once "eons ago" and I'm not sure what changed.

Anyone have any ideas?
