Never said there was one Bud.  However, in the law mentioned, and the law
for Nashville, there is EXEMPTION FOR SCANNERS, WHEN USED BY FCC LICENSED
HAM RADIO OPERATORS.
Please, note I NEVER said there was a federal exemption.  The law we are
discussing is LOCAL.
