subject: cpmtools 2.9 for OSX

Just a quick update:

While I was waiting for Michael Haardt's final release of cpmtools 2.9 I am
doing some testing with some folks.

One of my associates here in the Great White North did an virtualized OSX
build this PM on his Mac Pro with the dual Quad Xeon's, the hardware RAID
card, 4 internal drives with motherboard connections for an additional 6
external eSATA drives with room for a dog and a pony.

I am waiting to hear back on how his testing went but just wanted to mention
this in case some other high-end-type folks might be lurking about and
wondering about doing the same. I will be sure to ask what special
considerations are required if any.

When I get the release he'll build it again and I'll grab a set of OSX
binaries and whatever else makes sense to make available for download. Maybe
some documentation if it's a little unusual to build and use there.

Over and Under,

Bill
