if QEMU can then KVM can... that's my understanding...
BUT virtual machines are different than what DOSEMU does... using a VM to run
an emulated x86 sounds to me like how some of the old apple and commodore BBSes
are being brought back... they're using something like SLIP to connect to
another machine with full time internet... they are actually only talking to a
serial port which is connected to the other machine over a null modem cable and
the other machine is handling the actual internetserial stuff...
