i think you'll want/need more than 4G of RAM to do anything useful... i have
16G here and it is very tight at times and i'm wishing i had 32G to be able to
run all of my VMs...

the other thing, as i understand it, is that the emulation of certain
instructions is not fast... i'm thinking that there's some that cannot be
emulated so have to be handled another way... either way, the emulated machine
is slower than it would be if emulated on x86 hardware...
