The very first gun I ever learned to fix was the Crosman V350/M-1. I was
9 or 10 and I was totally in charge of fixing all the M-1's, V350's and
3500's that crossed the threshhold. These are a fun little plinker. The
most common problems we see is low power and the BB's falling out of
barrel. The former is basically caused by wear and the later being the
result of lost parts and gun falling apart or improperly assembled.
These little guns are not precision by any stretch but they are easy to
use and are a good starter gun so long as the shooter wears the proper
eyewear. Pristine examples of wood M-1's are the most collectable
version of this powerplant and can be seen fetching $150 with original
box and lit.
