Hey Nancy!

I've seen it happen. Not that much anymore or not as 'bad' as it used to
be back in the 'Baby Boom' years.

Ah! Maybe that's the problem; he's telling too much.

Let us see. Have we concluded that the lack of grandchildren is now
because you didn't spoil him enough and/or he tells too much?

NB> we love him, even when we don't at all like what he may be doing.

I know that feeling. Brings back memories. :::shiver:::

NB> He certainly didn't manage to stay married, and I know that there

I found out recently that my daughter and husband are now seperated, but
there is still two grandchildren albiet now it is in a holding pattern
given the seperation ... not that it still couldn't happen since often
things happen during seperation that probably shouldn't ... not that it
actually stops everyone. We'll see.

Also she was written up in the local rag (Saskatoon Star Phoenix) as an
advocate for public housing. I managed to find it on the web - cute
picture too - and derived some parental pride from that. All is not lost
eh?

NB> His girlfriend of the moment has three kids of her own... maybe I

 NB> step-grands, maybe not... :)

You could set the tone and call them grandchildren when he's around and
perhaps that will clue him in. Sometimes you have to force these issues.
I think it is worth a shot.

Life is good,
Maurice
