Hey Andrew!
AL> I believe Maurice Kinal has some experience with them.
Actually it goes back further than atoms to small 3.5" x 3.5" 486 class pc/104
industrial boards booting compact flash disks way back when (1999-ish). I
currently have two 64 bit Atom based systems working but they aren't in the
same league or target audience as the pi's, nevermind the cost or form
factor(s).
I appreciate the recognition but I think it might be a tad misplaced with the
topic at hand. To be honest I am highly interested in the current topic as it
has unfolded here wrt raspi's and am definetly interested in where it might end
up in the forseeable future. The so-called 64 bit ones are of great interest
to me although I am still sitting on the fence as to the actual purchase and
usage of one for any evil, demented plan I may or may not come up with.
Life is good,
Maurice
